Nap Time

It is nap time and I have decided to resurrect my blog. It was so great but I stopped when I was pregnant. Mostly because that is all I could think about. Pregnancy consumed me. Needless to say I am now consumed with parenthood, and mommy dates, but I find I have much more to say about that. I am also pretty darn fit again and I have many words about that too. So if my post are short and disorganized so be it. At least I am present and enjoying the blogsphere I missed so dearly.

I have not been on blogger since February. Sad, but true. Did I enjoy my time off? Well, yes, but now I am back and hopefully here to stay. What has been going on? I am loving, or rather in love with the Twilight Series. I am on book 3 and almost finished. I am going to watch the movie after I finish all the books. My poor husband is getting jealous of the books.

I have been on vacation. I couldn't take the cold weather out east, so we went down to sunny Florida for a week.

I have been getting bigger and bigger by the day, and the baby in me moves like crazy. Oh yes, and I found out we are having a BOY! Paint the town BLUE. There is a boy coming to our house.

There are still many adventures to be had, such as painting the room, of course birthing the baby, and trying to stay in my weight range with this one. You unfortunately can't gorge on ice cream through pregnancy either...sorry girls!

Anyways, I hope to catch up stop by all the blogs I love and follow so much and re-join my blogger community.

The Heart of it All

Today I went to my 8 week checkup. I cannot believe it is 8 weeks! We had an ultrasound and I saw the little baby's heart beating. What a huge sigh of relief and a good feeling. My husband got tears in his eyes. We love our doctor and just know this is going to be an amazing journey!

The most

I am 100% by far the most impatient person I know. If you have been reading this blog, you my know that the husband and I are no longer avoiding baby. To him this means, no longer avoiding, to me, this means a lesson in waiting and remaining cool and collected. I am now in the famous 2 weeks waiting time. Not sure what to do to ease the questions in my mind, and how to calm the hope and wonder. Regardless, one thing that helps is the fact that those darn pregnancy tests are quite expensive. All you blogger Mom's out there, feel free to share your experiences. I would love to know. Oh yeah, and when couples are "seriously" trying I know what they are doing now, and how often, thanks to the internet.
